Dewans' Residence

This humble abode is present in Bisht Gaon, Dehradun. This would be a perfect example of a space where there is an appropriate balance of luxury and nature. The surroundings have been designed in a way where they respond harmoniously with the built form present over there. When you enter the home, the drawing room on the left is placed in such a way that the opening over there presents us with the beautiful and extensive view of the surrounding hills and settlements over there, after a tiring day. The purpose of this particular space was to get refreshed and rejuvenated whenever we enter the place.

This home is where sustainability meets modernism. The stone facades are a characteristic feature of what the face of every structure should be over here. Every area should have a face, a characteristic of its own. Otherwise, the essence of the kind of architecture present over here would be lost. This home is successful in achieving the same.
